"Reduta"
Cultural Center from Brasov, Romania hosts during the period 19.of
april until 22 of april the painting, graphic art, sculpture and video art
exhibition called Art Connections.
The
opening will take place on 19 th of april, at 13.00 in the Music Room .
The art critic Ana Canpean will present the artworks in the exhibition.
The exhibition is organized by the visual artist Agata Secelean with the support of Brasov City Hall and Reduta Cultural Center. It is one of the events presented during Braşov City Celebrating Days.
The event brings together ten artists from Brasov, seven artists from Rishon LeZion (Israel) and one artist from Limassol ( Cyprus).
This
cultural exchange is the first one that is reuniting artists from towns that
are sistercities of Brasov . We started with this event in Brasov and this will be followed up
by the exhibitions of the Brasov artists in the other towns, Rishon and
Limassol during the next year, in 2013.
The participating artists are part of Studio 35
groups from these cities, meaning the artists who's ages are around 35 .
In this period we we have as guests in Brasov two representativs from the city halls of the two towns , two artists - Tsuki Garbian from Rishon LeZion and Giorgos Gerontides from Limassol and also the art curator Efi Gen from Rishon.

During this event in Brasov we also organize an Artists Discusssion Meeting on saturday - 21 of april at 17.00 .
On
sunday at 16.00 o'clock there will be short movies screening organized
with the help of Kunstadt Association ( Mara Oprisiu). It is a selection
of Romanian short movies that were present to the TIFF Festivals of the
last years.
